The Office of Electricity Delivery and Energy Reliability (OE) will hold a peer review of its Cybersecurity for Energy Delivery Systems (CEDS) Program and a Roadmap Milestone Assessment Workshop on August 5-7, 2014 at the Hilton Crystal City in Arlington, VA. This event is open to the public and will bring together leaders from industry, National Laboratories, and academia to hear first-hand about forthcoming CEDS solutions, provide feedback to CEDS program managers, and network with experts.

The peer review portion of the meeting will examine nearly 20 OE-supported research and development projects that advance the cybersecurity of energy delivery systems. The Roadmap to Achieve Energy Delivery Systems Cybersecurity, which was developed by industry, facilitated by the Department of Energy, and released in September of 2011, provides a vision, strategic direction, and goals for public and private activities over the next 10 years to enhance the cybersecurity of the electric sector. All of the Department’s cybersecurity activities, including these projects, align with the vision and goals of the Roadmap. The Roadmap Milestone Assessment Workshop, which will explore the energy sector's progress toward achieving the Roadmap’s milestones, will be held on August 7 at the same location.
