Sergey Kaunev put in charge of Gazprom Inform
Sergey Kaunev was elected Director General of Gazprom Inform.
Sergey Kaunev was born in 1965 in the Kursk Region. In 1988 he graduated from the Military Academy of Strategic Missile Forces in Serpukhov. In 2009 he received his MBA degree in Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.
Between 2007 and 2009 he was Deputy Head of the Procurement and Supply Directorate, Deputy Head and then Head of the Information Management Systems Directorate of Informgazinvest (Gazprom Inform after reorganization).
Between 2009 and 2014 – Deputy Director General for Information Technologies, Deputy Director General for EPR (Enterprise Resource Planning) Information Management Systems of Gazprom at Gazprom Inform.
Sergey Kaunov is a successor of Azamat Safarov, former Director General of Gazprom Inform, who is Head of the Information Management Systems Directorate within the Department for Finance and Economics of Gazprom.
Background
Gazprom Inform, a unified IT service subsidiary of Gazprom is responsible for operation and support of internal information management systems, software and hardware maintenance, information security in computer systems as well as IT support for Gazprom's Administration staff.
