Climate, Environment, and Conservation: Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) at the State Department

The Department of State will host an exhibit at the USA Science Engineering Festival at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. on April 26-27, 2014. For more information about the Festival and its mission to inspire U.S. youth, see http://www.usasciencefestival.org.

In preparation for its participation in the Festival, the Department is launching a new Web page, www.state.gov/stem, to showcase ways STEM-based knowledge and skills are applied to foreign relations. The Web page will serve as a portal to existing STEM-related programs across the Department and will feature information about the State exhibit at the Festival.

Prior to and during the Festival, the Department will be highlighting programs and activities relating to STEM on its social media properties using the hashtag #STEMatState.
