Alexey Miller and Evgeny Bakulin address current issues in respect of existing contracts with Ukraine
The Gazprom headquarters hosted today a working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Company's Management Committee and Evgeny Bakulin, Head of Naftogaz of Ukraine.
The parties addressed the renewal of Russian gas purchases by Ukraine under the existing contract as well as issues with regard to maintaining the relevant gas reserves in Ukraine's UGS facilities for the purposes of uninterrupted gas transit to Europe and successful operation in the autumn/winter period.
Alexey Miller and Evgeny Bakulin also considered the possibility of granting Naftogaz of Ukraine the right to pay the debt for Russian gas by installments.
