First Map Depicting 100-Meter Land-Based and Offshore Wind Resources Now Available

The first map to depict land-based and offshore wind resources is now available on the DOE Wind Program website. Produced by DOE, the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, and AWS Truepower, this map provides wind developers and policy-makers with a seamless representation of the wind resources estimated at a 100-meter height for all 50 states as well as offshore resources up to 50 nautical miles from shore.
