Arms Control and International Security: Secretary Kerry To Deliver Remarks at Ploughshares Fund Gala
On October 28th, Secretary of State John Kerry will deliver remarks at the Ploughshares Fund Gala at the U.S. Institute of Peace. The Secretary’s remarks will focus on the importance of decreasing the global threat of nuclear weapons.
The Secretary’s remarks will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will be open to the press.
Pre set for video cameras: 5:00 p.m. from 2301 Constitution Ave., NW. Final access time for journalists and still photographers: 5:45 p.m. from 2301 Constitution Ave., NW.
Media representatives may attend this event upon presentation of one of the following: (1) A U.S. Government-issued identification card (Department of State, White House, Congress, Department of Defense or Foreign Press Center), (2) a media-issued photo identification card, or (3) a letter from their employer on letterhead verifying their employment as a journalist, accompanied by an official photo identification card (driver's license, passport).
