The product enhancement adds a major set of charting series – step and polar subtypes series – which brings a total of eight new chart series to the users. The enhancement spans over multiple IDEs as well, offering the same functionality for pure JavaScript development, or ASP.NET, MVC and JAVA.

In addition to this, the company has released extended control functionalities, which allow straightforward implementation of Sparklines - lightweight trend indicators.

ShieldUI has also announced its planned release of a barcode suite, which will include all major one-dimensional barcodes, such as UPCA, as well as a two-dimensional QR Code UI component, for early November 2013.
