The Official Illinois Medical Marijuana Network Now Accepting Patients, Caregivers and Supporters

The Illinois Medical Marijuana Network Connects Patients with Providers as Illinois begins its Medical Marijuana Pilot Program beginning January 1, 2014

BOLINGBROOK, IL, USA, September 16, 2013 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Bolingbrook, IL – September 16, 2013 - With Illinois becoming the 20th state to implement the compassionate use of medical marijuana law(s) beginning January 1, 2014 there is still little, if any, information currently available for patients and their caregivers and/or supporters, leaving the people who are most in need with, ironically, the least amount of information.

As the legitimate and proven use of medical marijuana grows in acceptance nationwide and soon becomes legal in Illinois, patients, caregivers and supporters of the new law are now being accepted for free subscriptions to the official Illinois Medical Marijuana NetworkTM (IMMN) newsletter. The IMMN will be “Connecting Patients with Providers”, while providing information and updates that are already being requested as that information becomes available.

“Patients with severe and limiting conditions such as multiple sclerosis, certain types of debilitating cancers and other serious ailments have enough challenges as it is”, states Steven Bloome, President of the IMMN. “As we continue to develop our comprehensive statewide network, we want to make the information patients need (and are already asking for) during this new paradigm shift in acceptable and legal healthcare as accessible and easy for them to find as possible.”

"We are very pleased to have been accepted and officially licensed through the State of Illinois as well receiving the outpouring of support that the Illinois medical and alternative medicine communities have demonstrated", says Bloome. "Our biggest barometer of success, however, will still be when our comprehensive statewide network is completed, and we can connect all patients coming to us with the healthcare, legal, suppliers and other providers they need anywhere throughout the roughly 58,000 square miles of the State of Illinois.”

Connecting Patients with Providers through the IMMN will be the most efficient way to accomplish that, using a single network.

While not doing so yet, the official Illinois Medical Marijuana NetworkTM will soon be accepting listings for the doctors, clinics, hospitals, dispensaries, lawyers, smoke shops and other suppliers/vendors for this new healthcare segment that wish to be included in the network so that patients can quickly and easily locate the help they so desperately need and deserve. The IMMN wants to help those patients to live their lives with reduced symptoms, pain and harmful pharmaceutical side effects, as well as helping them in gaining back increased comfort, mobility, energy, freedom and dignity.

While the IMMN has not even “officially launched” yet, they have already been inundated with requests for various information via their website. Patients in Illinois are encouraged to begin subscribing right away in order to be kept up to date in the developments, laws and all other issues surrounding this new paradigm shift in Illinois healthcare so they are immediately informed to new and updated information as this comprehensive statewide network expands.
