You would never see a bunch of people who quit smoking using a nicotine patch getting together to express their enthusiasm and excitement about the patch.

LAS VEGAS, NV, USA, September 12, 2013 /EINPresswire.com/ -- National Vapers Club announces Vegas Vapefest 2013 at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas, NV, an event to promote research and education for e-cigarette users while providing a venue for the latest products.

As e-cigarettes gain popularity at unprecedented rates, National Vapers Club announces Vegas Vapefest 2013 at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas, NV, an event to promote research and education for e-cigarette users while providing a venue for the latest products. Vapefest, the first annual e-cigarette convention, which started in 2010, is a fundraiser and educational forum. It funds research into the safety of e-cigarettes.

Previous events funded a peer-reviewed Indoor Air Quality Study (IVAQS), published last fall in the scientific journal Inhalation Toxicology. The study determined e-cigarette emissions pose no apparent risk to human health.

With the e-cigarette industry booming, more than 50 e-cigarette vendors from across the world will be represented and provide free product samples and sell product. Due to the need for education in the rapidly growing industry, free workshops will be offered on all aspects of e-cigarette use from legal and science to how to workshops. There will be a raffle with 2000 dollars in prizes and many free giveaways.

"This is a great opportunity to learn about e-cigarette use and the science behind it," says Spike Babaian, one of the event organizers. "Thousands of people who successfully switched to e-cigarettes have attended previous events. It is an amazing experience. We’re looking forward to bringing this event back to Las Vegas."

After attending a previous Vapefest event… Bill Godshall of Smokefree Pennsylvania said, “You would never see a bunch of people who quit smoking using a nicotine patch getting together to express their enthusiasm and excitement about the patch.”

The event holds promise to be the largest event of its kind to date and organizers expect more than a thousand attendees.

Adults over 18 are invited to the Flamingo Hotel, Friday and Saturday, September 20 and 21, 2pm-10pm. $15 Entry for guests and free entry and free e-cigarette for smokers. Details at www.vapefest.com.
