The Office of Electricity Delivery and Energy Reliability has released a new report that explains synchrophasor technologies and how they can be used to improve the efficiency, reliability, and resiliency of grid operations. The report also includes an analysis of the costs and benefits of synchrophasors, based on data and initial results from Recovery Act-funded projects that are deploying the technologies.
