SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY, June 11, 2013 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Universal Preservation Hall today announced the addition of Sonny Bonacio, President and owner of Bonacio Construction, Inc, to its expanding Board of Directors. Bonacio started his company in 1989 and has spearheaded numerous residential and commercial construction projects in the Capital Region, most recently in Saratoga Springs and Troy.

Bonacio, who grew up on Saratoga Springs' west side was equally enthused about his appointment to UPH's board. I am proud to join their continued preservation effort and help make UPH a centerpiece of the cultural arts downtown. It is just another example of what makes our City great."

Bonacio commented in a 2010 interview about his commitment to downtown Saratoga Springs. "The downtown core is the spine of our community," he noted. "We have a vibrant downtown. It's what defines us from most other communities in the region. When people have the ability to live, work and support the downtown without vehicle dependency, that improves their quality of life."
