Murrieta Based Triple Line Solar Installs 672 Solar Panels in One Day
Murrieta, CA, March 23, 2013 – Triple Line Solar, located at 26499 Jefferson Avenue in Murrieta, CA installed an unprecedented 672 ground mounted solar panels in one day at the San Pasqual Avocado Company farm just 2 miles east of the San Diego Wild Safari Park.
Triple Line Solar owner, Jeff Van Dam, stated “By installing 672 panels equivalent to 191 kilowatts of electricity, the owner of this avocado grove is off-setting the use of fossil fuel to power massive irrigation systems. The sun will now drive the pumps that deliver water to over 255 acres.”
Beginning at 7:45 a.m. on Saturday, March 23rd, 25 crewmembers carried each panel down steep slopes to assemble multiple arrays. Only stopping for a short lunch break, the team worked over 9 hours to assemble 14 solar arrays by 5:30 p.m.
