Stereofocus Presents the Most Flexible Camera Mounting Solution on Kickstarter
/EINPresswire.com/ Precise camera handling for panoramic, HDRI or 3D stereoscopic shootings has always been difficult. This Kickstarter campaign presents an innovative mounting solution for professional photo & video cameras and offers the freedom to easily switch between portrait & landscape.
The startup company Stereofocus Ltd. has launched on May 13th their first Kickstarter campaign with the innovative Stereo-one product line including the Kipphead, 3D Rig-Slider and 3D Handheld-Rig on Kickstarter. The Stereo-one 3D product line for professional photo & video cameras comes with inventive features to easily change between portrait and landscape. This product line offers various new ways when handling cameras in pnaoramic, HDRI & stereoscopic imaging and brings major improvements in functionality through flexibility.
Stereo-one Kipphead
The Kipphead is the first mounting solution that offers the freedom to change between portrait and landscape mode with a simple click mechanism. If needed, cameras can be easily detached through the quick release and fine adjustments for tilt and roll allow quick corrections. With the nodal point extension the Kipphead can be adjusted in x- & z-axis and also used as a panorama head rotating in 90 degree steps. The first 100 early bird supporters can get it for just 499£ without nodal point extension.
Stereo-one 3D Rig-Slider
The new Stereo-one 3D Rig-Slider for digital photo & video cameras is designed by Stereofocus to simultaneously control a pair of cameras in interaxial and convergence rotation. For the first time Stereographers have the choice in 3D whether to shoot in portrait or landscape mode. Another new feature is known from the panorama photography with the adjustable nodal point (point of rotation). It allows shifting each camera in different axis (x- and z-axis) apart from convergence rotation to create a more pleasant 3D experience. Its lightweight design offers also multiple usage options as handheld, tripod, dolly, fluid-head or a crane with a remote head. The offered packages for backers are varying from 2500£ to 4000£ depending on the max interocular distance (available sizes 50cm, 75cm, 100cm) and functionality (with or without convergence).
Stereo-one 3D Handheld-Rig
The lightweight Stereo-one 3D Handheld-Rig (1kg) makes it easy to carry a stereo-rig all day and is the ultimate 3D gear for productions in smaller places when it comes to maneuverability and usage. Different cameras sizes can be attached to it allowing quick camera changes between portrait & landscape mode. Early bird backers can get it for just 899£ on Kickstarter.
The Kickstarter campaign is looking gor a funding of 75.000£ and will end on July, 6th. Please visit the Kickstarter page for more information: http://kck.st/13T3mpM
Description
Right now 3D is in all places and with the new Web 2.0 technologies; the virtual environment is catching up and becoming even more interactive. This new feature can be used in different ways to create a fascinating product experience, where customers can see around objects or actors by turning, rotating and zooming it.
Digital 3D productions require an extra level of complexity in camera alignment, image acquisition and post processing of stereoscopic images. Only a few understand the costly production process that comes along and how to avoid headaches, fatigue, ghosting or eyestrain. Stereofocus offers expertise in stereo photography and lenticular printing, working together with agencies, photographers, producers, vfx-artists, stereographers and lenticular experts.
