Middle School Students Compete in Second Annual Pennsylvania KidWind Challenge

Pennsylvania students participated in the second annual Pennsylvania KidWind Challenge at Londonderry School in Harrisburg on March 23. The Pennsylvania Wind for Schools Project, funded by the U.S. Department of Energy's Wind Powering America initiative and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and administered by Penn State, was one of the event's sponsors. The event allows students to apply their knowledge of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) to create turbine designs that produce power.
