Local Business Celebrates 35 Years

RENTON, Wash.,--Local, independent insurance agent Chuck Rubin of Eastside Insurance Services celebrates 35 years as a licensed PEMCO Insurance agent. As an independent agent, Rubin is able offer clients the best rates from a number of carriers, but values the long-standing relationship he has built with PEMCO Insurance.
Rubin, a former teacher, began his relationship with PEMCO as an independent contractor working out of a PEMCO home office. Rubin said he was familiar with PEMCO Insurance prior to beginning his insurance career as PEMCO was his personal insurance carrier. Being an independent PEMCO agent has allowed Rubin’s company, Eastside Insurance, to flourish. Rubin operates his business under a simple principle: helping everyone he can.
“We just like helping people,” Rubin said. “We have people that come to our office that are not our clients and we try to use our resources to help the best we can. They don’t have to be our clients for us to help them, a lesson I learned a long time ago, it rewards you. ”
Those rewards are what keep Rubin in the office, answering his own calls, emails and delivering that personal service only an independent agent can. “We always answer the phones ourselves and get back to people as soon as possible,” Rubin said “We go the extra mile to help people.”
Rubin and his team, son Matt and Tom Brody, a 15-year Eastside Insurance veteran operating out of Bellevue, WA, look forward to the next five years of partnership with PEMCO. “They [PEMCO] sent me a card this year,” Rubin said. “I won’t make them take me out for dinner.”
