UKOOA Expands Its Technical Resources In Aberdeen

The UK Offshore Operators Association (UKOOA) today announces the appointment of Gordon Harvey as assistant director of operations and technical affairs in Aberdeen from 2 February 1998.

Gordon Harvey joins UKOOA after 24 years with the civil service where he has been head of Environment and Development Authorisations for the previous four years at the Department of Trade and Industrys Oil and Gas Office in Aberdeen. Gordons appointment reflects UKOOAs focus on handling the operational and technical issues impacting on the offshore oil and gas industry. On his appointment, Gordon commented, The offshore oil and gas industry continues to face new challenges. I look forward to playing a full part in its exciting future.
