Oil and Gas Industry’s Future Is On Breakfast Menu

Key oil and gas figures will share their views on the future of the industry in a series of breakfast meetings aimed at the Aberdeen business community.

Organised by the UK Offshore Operators Association, the UKOOA Energy Breakfast meetings will kick off on Thursday April 8 at the Marcliffe at Pitfodels Hotel with an event hosted by UKOOA President and Chevron Europe Managing Director Bob Connon.

Everyone directly involved or with an interest in the industry is invited to attend the open forum sessions, to be held every two months. Launching the Energy Breakfasts, Dr John Wils, UKOOA Operations Director said: This is a positive step towards creating an information and networking opportunity for those in the business community whose future success depends, directly and indirectly, on the oil and gas industry in Aberdeen.

We are delighted that such a high profile speaker as Bob Connon has agreed to initiate the series. By giving the local business community a dialogue with top industry influencers and decision-makers, and keeping business briefed on the views and plans of the major players we can, hopefully, help to meet the challenge created by the current low oil prices.

Note to Editors: The Energy Breakfasts will be managed by Hulse Rodger & Co a local event management company with wide experience of handling corporate and association conferences and events for the oil and gas industries. Journalists wishing to attend the breakfasts will be welcome and should contact Hulse Rodger & Co.
