UKOOA “Millennium Bug” Leaflet
The UK Offshore Operators Association (UKOOA) has produced a leaflet summarising the preparations made by the UK offshore oil and gas industry for the Year 2000 date change, the so-called Millennium Bug problem.
50,000 copies of the leaflet, which gives a brief summary of the state of readiness for offshore installations, communications systems, helicopters, the emergency services and standby and support vessels, will be distributed to the workforce both on and offshore through UKOOA member companies.
It will also be available at Offshore Europe 99.
