Major winter storm hits Central U.S.
A powerful winter storm will continue to bring a variety of hazards to parts of the central southern U.S. through Tuesday. Heavy snow will spread northeastward from the Plains to the Great Lakes, with blizzard conditions possible through early Tuesday.
