Hunt for Justice receives an official endorsement from the Missouri Fraternal Order of Police
"On behalf of the Missouri Fraternal Order of Police we are pleased to fully and completely endorse the efforts of Hunt for Justice in their support and pursuit of vindicating detective Christopher E. Hunt. After considerable research, it is our stance and belief that Detective Hunt was acting in accordance with his lawful duties as a police officer at all times."

/EINPresswire.com/ Saint Charles, MO - November 14, 2012 -- We are honored to have received the endorsement of the Missouri Fraternal Order of Police. This endorsement is critically important in our efforts to raise awareness and educate the public on the magnitude of the injustice and character assassination that has taken place on a highly decorated and experienced police officer, Christopher E. Hunt. The Fraternal Order of Police has over 5,300 members in Missouri with members comprised primarily of full-time rank-and-file law enforcement officers employed in Missouri. This is critically important as it has been repeatedly and inaccurately portrayed that Detective Hunt was a rouge police officer. An organization like the Fraternal Order of Police represents everything that is right with law enforcement.
Hunt for Justice is a fast-forming group of citizens from all walks of life that have been silenced too long during Deputy Christopher E. Hunt's unjust assassination of character and livelihood. We all are common, law-abiding, and tax-paying Americans that understand the need for citizens to be treated by law enforcement officers with the same set of laws that they pledge to uphold. We are a group that has sat still waiting and hoping for true justice and truth to come to the surface. Through our patience and trust in "the system" we have been left speechless, saddened, and awakened. Our hope is that through constant public relations we can provide a place to fundraise for our efforts in the days, weeks, and months ahead as we "Hunt for Justice." In addition to fundraising for The Deputy Hunt Defense Fund, we also hope to raise awareness, education, and understanding as to why all the people involved with the "Hunt for Justice" are so moved to act. We recognize the real danger of any society or government that has a systemic tolerance for "dirty cops." We, in fact, also despise that very thought. However, the truth about Deputy Christopher E. Hunt and his fellow deputies' actions has been distorted beyond imagination. Our peers, families, co-workers, and even our own employers have assured us over the course of nearly four years, "Don't worry; it will all work out. Let this play out. In the end it will be okay." Unfortunately, good intentions and this advice has led us to the witnessing of a wrongful conviction and sentencing of a hard-working police officer with an impeccable record for public service who was ultimately apprehending a wanted felon who was in the process of cooking meth. The injustice of a courtroom filled with unconstitutional representation at every turn is a sad day for our justice system, police officers everywhere, and judges that give their lives to our service. We hope to make no attempt at changing or distorting the facts; instead, we hope to enlighten and bring forth the factual evidence and testimonies that were smothered out and ignored during this entire process.
