Mass shooting at temple results in multiple fatalities

Milwaukee – A mass shooting at a Sikh temple left seven people dead and others injured. As reported by Good Morning America, the circumstances surrounding the shooting, which occurred Sunday morning in the Oak Creek suburb of Milwaukee, were still being investigated at the time of the report.
Officers were reportedly continuing to conduct searches of the building at the time the report was released to ensure that any injured persons had been evacuated and possible additional shooters had been removed.
One of the suspected shooters is believed to be one of the deceased individuals. A police officer who responded to the scene was also reportedly shot multiple times, but is stated to be expected to survive.
