Solar Energy International will offer this course and four other training sessions in Anchorage this summer. Course participants will receive a nationally recognized certificate of completion and 40 credit hours toward the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners certification. These courses (a $1,080 value each) are being offered free of charge for Alaska residents through an American Recovery and Reinvestment Act grant administered by the Alaska Department of Labor. Travel scholarships are also available. An additional wind turbine installation course will be offered in Hooper Bay in August (date TBD).
