New Reader Spoils Website Connects Authors With Thousand-Plus Book Reviewers

/EINPresswire.com/ Reader Spoils, a newsletter connecting self-published authors with over 1,300 book reviewers, launches new website.

Self-published authors now have two ways to connect to over 1,300 avid book reviewers in the United States thanks to the new Reader Spoils website.

Reader Spoils, a four-year-old website servicing self-published authors with small marketing budgets, announces the release of their revamped website today. Reader Spoils sends out a newsletter twice monthly to book reviewers around the country who review books for as little as the price of a cup of coffee.

"The Reader Spoils newsletter was born out of my own need as a self-published author to find qualified book reviewers to read and review my book after my friends and family bailed on me," explains author and owner Clark Covington.

Previous iterations of Reader Spoils allowed members to sponsor a twice-monthly newsletter with their book listing seeking book reviewers for a flat fee of $97 monthly, whereas the newly revamped website offers the same popular $97 option as well as the option to sponsor the newsletter for a single month instead of an ongoing subscription for $147.

"Our clients explained that often they wanted to jumpstart a marketing campaign for a book for a single month, without having to worry about ongoing review requests. So for them we created the new one-off option," notes Covington in regards to his thinking in revamping the Reader Spoils website.

Reader Spoils offers self-published authors an avenue to reach book reviewers that previously was unavailable to them.

"Literary critics, in the past anyways, were less interested in reviewing self-published books than works associated with major imprints, so I built Reader Spoils to give authors of all stripes a chance to connect with reviewers, have their books read and reviewed, and hopefully add to the discoverability of their book," Covington explains.

With the record number of self-published bestsellers emerging this summer, the new Reader Spoils website is a tool worth visiting for authors seeking exposure for their work.
