Today’s watches all claim to be “smart”, but still require the help of a smartphone in order to work. Most smartwatches, including the popular Pebble smartwatch, are like small portable alarms that just notify the wearer when a call or text is being received, and are incapable of letting the user answer or respond back directly through the watch in real time. Others really only focus on one area of expertise like fitness, such as FitBit, and thus the “smart” watch only records physical activity data or has limited features.

The FlyShark Smartwatch breaks down all those barriers. This smartwatch lets the wearer know when they are receiving a text or call and allows them to directly respond back through the watch. The team has designed the watch so people can simply place in a Micro-SIM card in order for the watch to work.
