Building on the success of previous meetings—in-person workshops at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab (2023) and Technische Universität München (2024), followed by MLXN25, last year's online 24-hour event that brought together researchers, practitioners, and enthusiasts from around the globe, we are excited to announce MLXN26. While we will return to the online format in future years, this year's event will be held in-person with limited hybrid options available. Held from April 12th-14th 2026 in Washington DC, USA, this event will explore the transformative power of machine learning in X-ray and neutron scattering. In addition to traditional contributed and invited talks, we will have opportunities for networking and collaboration in a vibrant in-person setting.
