IBERDROLA has launched a bilingual corporate channel on Facebook, in addition to its official Twitter, SlideShare, Flickr, YouTube and LinkedIn accounts, as part of its strong commitment to social networks and digital media.
The company's new profile is intended as an information channel for sharing more social content, linked mostly to fields of innovation, sustainability, volunteering or renewable energies.
IBERDROLA's new channel on Facebook will boost its on-line communication policy and promote informative transparency. The company intends to use it not only to reach out to professionals in the sector, but also to promote its activities among society in general.
IBERDROLA already has corporate channels on Twitter, where its accounts are @iberdrola in Spanish and @iberdrola_En in English, to provide interesting updates on current operations and company projects; Flickr, where there are several albums of photos on the Group; YouTube, where videos on Iberdrola's main activities are posted; SlideShare, to provide users with presentations on the company; and LinkedIn.
There have also been improvements made to the corporate website, where media professionals have their own designated area, called "Multimedia Professionals.
The Group also recently set up @TuIberdrola, the company's official channel for customers run by the Sales Department to provide support to users and share offers and promotions, as well as energy-saving tips.
@TuIberdrola enables customers to manage their contracts, make queries and receive customised advice, while also receiving up-to-date information on products and services, promotions and tips on energy-saving, energy-efficiency and safety.
