Leading Tech, Leading Style: Augmented Reality Firm Gravity Jack Announces Futuristic New Office
To accommodate recent explosive growth, custom software solutions leader Gravity Jack has announced its move, within Liberty Lake, to a futuristic new office space. The augmented reality firm's new space is as futuristic as its technology.
/EINPresswire.com/ LIBERTY LAKE, Wash. -- Gravity Jack, a leader in augmented reality, has released details today on the company's futuristic and unashamedly trendy new office space. Due to explosive growth over the last two years, and in an effort to accommodate its surge of employees, the company handled the move, as one would expect from the technology studio --Creatively.
When Luke Richey, founder and CEO of Gravity Jack (http://www.gravityjack.com), started the company in late 2009, Gravity Jack consisted of five employees and focused heavily on custom software development. Now, preparing to pass the 50-employee mark, the company has a brand new headquarters, as original and futuristic as its technology.
The 4,616 square-foot office, where projects like "browsAR" are born, sits atop a full-service workout facility, as well as a coffee shop, and includes a lobby, full kitchen, developer floor, 3D creative lab, and extensive storage. After moving off the main developer floor, the office continues on, into the executive offices, all of which overlook the city of Liberty Lake.
Moving a business is no easy feat, but Luke Richey, Gravity Jack's Founder and CEO, couldn't be more satisfied with the location and process. "Our friend Steve Schmautz with SDS Realty has been absolutely amazing. When you make a move like ours, you need someone constantly bending over backwards and going to bat, consistently, for you. Steve and the group at SDS did exactly that."
It is a big change for the company who, until the move, fostered unprecedented growth out of a much smaller space, and the upgrade comes just in time. Gravity Jack is currently in undisclosed talks with some of the world's biggest names in numerous verticals, including the industrial, entertainment, and sports industries. According to Mitch Williams, Gravity Jack COO, the change represents the company's coming of age -- from a small startup, into a worldwide technology powerhouse.
"We always knew what we are doing was going to be explosive, but anyone can say that. To actually see it happening, and for us to become this fast-paced company, taking over AR, it's something we've been waiting for. It's something we're enjoying."
Gravity Jack announced the move shortly after the company's December 15th release of its flagship mobile augmented reality application, browsAR. The app, that doubles as a full-featured QR code reader, allows users to view augmented reality in the everyday world, even allowing users to view and interact with their Facebook profiles in true AR. Those interested in browsAR and augmented reality can get more information on the mobile app, available for free on both Apple's App Store and the Android Market, at the apps website (http://qar.cc).
