Vestas receives 54 MW order in the UK
The contract includes supply, installation and commissioning of the turbines as well as a service agreement with an availability warranty.
Delivery of the turbines is scheduled to be completed in early 2013 and once operational the wind power plant could generate enough power to supply the average needs of up to approx 27,600 British homes.
At the customer’s request, additional details about the customer and the project location cannot be disclosed at this time.
