CHANDLER, ARIZONA – Kyle LeDuc, driver of the #99 Rockstar / Makita / Toyo Tires Ford F-150, won the Pro 4 Unlimited class main event during Saturday’s Round 15 of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series at Firebird Raceway in Chandler, Arizona. Running Toyo Open Country M/T-R tires, LeDuc’s 900-horsepower Pro 4 Unlimited Ford qualified fastest on Friday with a speed of 96.096-mph. He then won the Pro 4 Unlimited main event on Saturday, defeating 10 other trucks for the top spot.

LeDuc also finished second in the main event of the Pro Lite Unlimited class on Saturday with his #99 Rockstar / Makita / Toyo Tires Ford Ranger equipped with off-the-shelf Toyo Open Country M/T tires.

“The Saturday race was a true testament of what the 99 truck with Rockstar/Makita and Toyo tires behind it can really do -- smoke the competition with ease,” said LeDuc. “We also had a great race for Pro Lite. We finally got the truck dialed in and smooth, setting the fastest lap in both races and a near victory with our Toyo tires hooked up!”

During Sunday’s big money race, the Lucas Oil Challenge Cup, Pro 2 vs. Pro 4; LeDuc led the race early and set the fastest time of the race, ultimately a mechanical problem sidelining his effort. Jeremy McGrath powered his #2 Monster Energy / Ready LIFT / Toyo Tires Ford truck to capture third overall, along with a check for $7,500.00. McGrath survived the mayhem of a 25-truck start, his Toyo Open Country M/T-R tires helping deliver his 900-horsepower to the ground when needed.

“We congratulate both Kyle LeDuc for his win and podium on Saturday, and Jeremy McGrath for his podium finish during Sunday’s big race,” said Stan Chen, manager of events and motorsports, Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. “We also congratulate both Kyle and Todd LeDuc for their second and third place overall finish in the 2011 Pro 4 Unlimited class championship. Their success demonstrates the consistency and race winning performance of our Open Country M/T-R tires throughout the year.”

Saturday’s win was Kyle LeDuc’s sixth win during the season while he also captured eight top qualifying spots in 2011.  Unofficial results put brothers Kyle and Todd LeDuc in second and third overall for the 2011 Pro 4 Unlimited class championship points while competing on Toyo Open Country M/T-R tires.  Team Toyo Off-Road’s Jeremy McGrath currently sits fourth overall in the Pro 2 Unlimited class championship standings.  The official results will be posted by the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series later this week.
