Minister McGrath welcomes the publication of the eighth Annual Report of the Tax Appeals Commission
In 2023 the TAC resolved just over 1500 appeals representing tax under appeal of €1.386 billion, reduced its appeal numbers by nearly 25 per cent, scheduled over 400 hearings at a value of €1.4 billion, and issued 175 determinations valued at circa €409 million. The Minister, noting the significant progress made by the TAC during 2023, said:
