Mitsubishi Motors Delivers Norway's 1,000th i-MiEV
Dec 6, 2011 (PRN): Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) announced the delivery of Norway's 1,000th i-MiEV new-generation electric vehicle (EV). The ceremony to celebrate the delivery of the 1,000th i-MiEV was held in Oslo on December 5 (local time) with participation of Mr. Erik Solheim, Norway's Minister of Environment and Development.
In Norway, electric car purchasers can receive substantial incentives while installation of charging infrastructure is spreading fast. Since its launch in Norway in January 2011, the i-MiEV has maintained the top spot in total sales volume of compact (A-segment) vehicles, including gasoline vehicles, proof that the i-MiEV is a very much a practical vehicle that can serve the demands of Norwegian consumers.
