Modix Unveils "Core-Meter" – A Cost-effective 1-Cubic-Meter 3D Printer at Formnext in Germany, November 7-10, 2023

FRANKFURT, GERMANY, October 19, 2023 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Modix (https://modix3d.com), a leading manufacturer recognized for its large-format 3D printers, is poised to make a significant impact at the upcoming Formnext Germany 2023 with the introduction of its latest innovation – the Modix Core-Meter. Following the design concept of the Core-60, which made its debut at the Rapid show in the USA in May of this year, the Core-Meter signifies the second instalment in Modix's new line of large 3D printers, designed to provide cost-effective solutions to a diverse customer base, including small business and startups.

With an attractive starting price of $6,900 USD, the Core-Meter offers an affordable alternative without compromising on quality, notably undercutting the existing Modix BIG-Meter, priced at $13,500 USD. Boasting a substantial print volume of 1,000 X 1,000 X 1,000 mm, the Core-Meter is scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2024. It is worth noting that the Core-Meter supports a single print head only while the BIG-Meter also supports the IDEX dual print head capabilities, designed for advanced multi material 3D printing.

Modix's entry into a second line of printers represents a pivotal strategic move, positioning the company as a comprehensive solution provider for the large-scale 3D printing market. Additionally, a range of supplementary add-ons, including enclosures, air filtration systems, filament dryers, and more, will be made available for the Core-Meter.

Key Features of the Core-Meter:
• Core XY kinematics for enhanced 3D printing print speed.
• Accelerometer on the print head to minimize vibrations and enhance print quality.
• Duet electronic controller.
• Llightweights yet potent Phaetus Rapido hotend and APUS extruder.

Mr. Shachar Gafni, CEO of Modix, commented, "Modix is taking a significant step forward by diversifying our product portfolio. We will soon offer a total of seven distinct models, catering to a broader spectrum of customer requirements."

Mr. John Van El, CCO of Modix, expressed optimism regarding the Core family of printers, stating, "We firmly believe that the Core family is positioned to tap into an untapped market segment, delivering high-quality large 3D printers to a wider audience. We are eager to showcase our new offerings in our expanded booth at Formnext and anticipate reconnecting with industry partners and colleagues at this momentous event."
