Eren has served for over six years as an independent board member and member of the Audit Committee for Türkiye Finans Participation Bank (a subsidiary of Saudi National Bank) in Istanbul. Previously he was a board member and interim CEO at Hexagon Solid Waste Management Company, in charge of restructuring multi-lateral financial institutions' debt and operational turnaround of the company. Eren has 30+ years of experience in banking, telecom, construction, energy, chemicals, and infrastructure, having engaged in operational and P&L responsibility, risk management, and corporate finance, always under complex shareholding structures.

Leveraging his accumulated experience and network, Eren is currently focusing on restructuring and operational transformation/turnaround on an international level. His advisory work includes projects with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the International Finance Corporation – IFC. Eren has also served on the Enerya Natural Gas Distribution Company board as the Group Chief Financial Officer of STFA Investment Holding AS. Previously, he was Chief Financial Officer for AVEA, the mobile telecom operator. He also worked for Citibank in Istanbul and Procter & Gamble, both in Brussels and Istanbul. He earned his MBA from KU Leuven in Belgium and his BSc in Industrial Engineering from Boğaziçi University.
