Florida Cardiologist Dr. Puxiao Cen Participates in Harriett's Park Avenue Fashion Week

Florida Heart Group recognizes Orlando cardiologist Dr. Puxiao Cen for her involvement in Harriett's Park Avenue Fashion Week. Dr. Cen was a runway model at the main show on Saturday, October 15, 2011.
This was the fifth year for this hot-ticket event held on downtown Winter Park's West Meadow. The show is organized by Harriett Lake, local philanthropist, style-maven, and arts donor.
Since 2007, the show has been held every fall with a week full of fashionable events hosted by the boutiques of Park Avenue and Hannibal Square.
Lake's goal with Fashion Week is to "... bring the essence of fashion and merge it with function to showcase Winter Park and its elegance."
Orlando cardiologist Dr. Puxiao Cen was one of the models selected to participate in this year's event.
Executives at Florida Heart Group were excited for Dr. Cen's representation of the cardiology practice at this high-profile community event.
Puxiao Cen, MD FACC is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, nuclear cardiology and echocardiography. She graduated from Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences located in Guangzhou, China in 1992. She continued her education in the United States, completing her residency and internship at the Lenox Hill Hospital, on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, New York followed by her Cardiovascular Fellowship at Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Additionally, she served as the Clinical Instructor at the Temple University Hospital Department of Medicine from July 1998 to June 2001.
In 2001, following her postgraduate training, Dr. Cen relocated to Florida and joined Florida Heart Group. Her clinical interests include Adult Congenital Heart Disease, Cardiovascular Disease prevention, and treatment and the management of Congestive Heart Failure. She is active in many local and national medical associations; and in 2003, she was elected Fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
