New AHEPAHOUSING.ORG Website Makes Search for Affordable Senior Housing Simple
/EINPresswire.com/ AHEPA National Housing Corporation has launched its new housing search website to help seniors and their families locate affordable AHEPA apartment communities throughout the country.
Choose a state and city, find a community, and read about affordable housing created with a dedication to helping seniors and the disabled live their maturing years with dignity. AHEPA National Housing Corporation and AHEPA Management Company have announced the launch of their updated, user-friendly website at www.ahepahousing.org.
AHEPA National Housing Corporation (ANHC) develops HUD-subsidized Section 202 housing for the disabled and low income elderly citizens ages 62 and up. Established in 1983, ANHC serves over 4,700 senior citizens in 87 communities throughout 22 states with apartments and expanding amenities. Property management services and supportive services for ANHC communities are provided by AHEPA Management Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary.
"We are pleased to provide this new tool for seniors and their families seeking affordable housing in a wonderful environment," says Nickolas Stratas of ANHC. "Not only does the site allow searches for housing, it also lists property amenities, provides a map to the property, and makes inquiring about an ANHC community a clear procedure."
AHEPA National Housing Corporation has developed HUD-subsidized affordable senior apartment communities in Alabama, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas and Tennessee. The properties are owned by not-for-profit owner corporations and sponsored by ANHC with the support of the local AHEPA chapter in each state.
"Searching for housing online has become the norm these days, a vast improvement from the old days of driving around a neighborhood or reading the classified ads in the newspaper," notes Arthur Poly, CEO of AHEPA Management Company. "This works for affordable communities too." Peggy Miller, Property Manager of AHEPA 3 Apartments in Hoover, Alabama comments, "We are seeing a lot of family members and seniors becoming more internet savvy. The website is a wonderful way to share our communities."
Stratas summed it up. "We are excited about this next phase of our company's ability to create not only greater awareness of the ways we help low income senior citizens live in comfort as they age, but it also gives us a needed platform to help generate inquiries from people who are interested in calling our apartments their home."
AHEPA National Housing Corporation complies with the Federal Fair Housing Act through Equal Housing Opportunity. It is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization. For more information on AHEPA National Housing Corporation, visit www.ahepahousing.org or call 317-845-3410.
