English Language Programs coordinate the distribution of U.S. government-produced ELT and American studies books, maps and CDs.

The American English Webinar Live – American English Live Series 16—six free professional development webinars for English language teachers around the world—begins on January 18, 2023. Together, we’ll explore teaching about climate change in the EFL classroom and TESOL topics to strengthen core skills instruction. You can complete a short quiz at the end of each webinar to earn a digital participation badge!
Series 16 events take place every other Wednesday from January 18th to March 29th at 8 am and 1 pm Eastern Time/Washington, DC. The OPEN Program Global Online Courses (former E-Teacher Program) offers Kazakhstani English teaching professionals the opportunity to take innovative, online university-level classes and online professional development programming for teachers through FHI 360. The courses explore major areas of the academic specialty of Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). American English Microscholarship Online is a website that provides resources for teaching and learning English and American culture. The website is updated bi-monthly and provides cutting edge resources teachers can easily adapt in their own classrooms or learners can use for self-study.
