OTTAWA, ON, Feb. 8, 2023 /CNW/ - The Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, and the Honourable Anita Anand, Minister of National Defense, will visit Washington, DC, from February 8th to 10^th to meet with key business, industrial and political leaders to advance the Canada-U.S. economic and national security partnership.

The Ministers will focus on strengthening the integration of the defense industrial base which creates well paying jobs, growth, and resilience on both sides of the border.

While in Washington, DC, the two ministers will also take part in a joint armchair discussion hosted by the Wilson Center on Fostering National Security and Economic Prosperity in North America.
