PRESS RELEASE: 7 new positive COVID-19 cases for Samoa – (02 October, 2022);

(GOVT. PRESS SECRETARIAT) ;  As of September 18th to September 25th, Samoa’s Ministry of Health reported 7 new positive cases, taking the cumulative number of COVID-19 positive cases (community/border) to 15,941. Of this number 15,761 are community cases, and 180 are border cases since November 2020.

Currently there are no cases at Motootua Hospital and none at the ICU.

This seven-day rolling average report covers positive case trends since the first community case was confirmed on March 17th. It also provides current national COVID-19 vaccination rates.
