TItled “Animal Affinities: Monsters and Marvels in the Ambrosian Tanakh,” Gertsman’s article considered material and figurative emphasis in addition to visual conversations. Additionally, Gertsman considers “animal-human hybrids within a larger set of Jewish cultural discourses on the monstrous and the marvelous.”
