The Flora Stone Mather Center for Women has released a research brief on undergraduate women in STEM. A research brief is a short, non-technical summary of a discussion paper, intended for decision-makers, with a focus on the paper’s policy or practice relevant findings.
Using evaluation data from Mather Center programs, the center produces resources for practitioners and policy makers to advance gender equity at the university and across higher education. This brief focuses on the Women in Science and Engineering Roundtable (WISER), including the successes, struggles and opportunities for other universities to launch similar programs.
