FieldOne Systems Releases Major System Upgrade
Version 5.0 of FieldOne Field Service Management Software Contains More Than 50 New Features
/EINPresswire.com/FieldOne Systems announced today the general availability of a major update to its Field Service Software. This latest version, FieldOne 5, is available for sale to new customers, and free of charge to existing customers with active service contracts.
"As in previous upgrades, the majority of our product improvement comes directly from customer feedback," explained Ilan Slasky, CEO of FieldOne Systems. "Our developers know the field service industry inside and out, but ultimately the people using our software all day can best identify features they'd like to see added or modified. Their feedback has created an incredibly powerful and practical set of new features."
"This update proves once again that FieldOne is truly listening as we make requests for new features," said FieldOne client Glenn Udell, CEO of AFGO Mechanical Services. "They took customization even further with added screen and field personalization options. My staff can now save even more time with the upgraded functionality, such as the ability to add work order items while on the new service call screen, and with the option for bill payments to sync with my accounting system."
Among the latest additions included in FieldOne version 5 are an improved Proposal and Service Agreements editor (redesigned to be more familiar to users of MS-Word), notifications for scheduling conflicts, and credit card processing using the Fidelity Payment merchant processor, with even better rates, faster approval and overnight funds availability (in most cases) in the U.S. and Canada. In total, this release adds over 50 new features to the FieldOne software package.
"It's clear that more and more field service companies have recognized the potential for direct, measurable improvement in ROI when streamlining areas like invoicing, scheduling, inventory, customer service and employee logistics," added Shloma Baum, Founder, President & Chief Technology Officer. "At FieldOne, we have to balance three key elements for successful adoption by our clients. First, the learning curve — we offer a product that is easy to use and to understand, and provide extensive ongoing training to be sure. Second is the feature set — an active field service company juggles hundreds of tasks and processes each day to ensure satisfaction among both employees and customers. Finally, price — our pricing options allow for specific implementations, for each customer. It's a lot to get right, and we're proud of our growing list of satisfied clients who confirm we've got a winning formula. Version 5 is another exciting step in that direction."
