Gangstaz Tap Music Exec Ian D'Souza
"Grammy-nominated Gospel Gangstaz ready to emerge with new album"
/EINPresswire.com/ "This is a new beginning for Camp 8 and the Gospel Gangstaz, and the best is yet to come" said Mr. Solo speaking about the release of their new album with the help of veteran music executive, Ian D'Souza. The single "G'd Up" is available August 23rd on iTunes, Amazon, and Rhapsody as well as other major music retailers.
The Gospel Gangstaz have been hard at work on several new projects to spread their message. The message is: "That it doesn't matter where you have been but where you choose to go in life that truly matters". The release of their upcoming 88-minute documentary, "Street Disciples," demonstrates this mantra as it tells the story of their lives and the amazing transformations they have made from being members of a violent street gang to walking and living in a new light.
The Gospel Gangstaz has long been recognized for their beliefs, outreach and ministry through their music. Mr. Solo, the founder of the group, became a Christian after he nearly died from gunshot wounds in an alley during a gang related shooting. Shortly after, Chille Baby came to Christ as well. The Gangstaz are on a mission to use their music and stories to teach kids growing up in war torn, gang entrenched, neighborhoods that there is a better way and that God gave them the power of choice to lead a better life.
When it came time to choose a partner to help spread their positive message across the air- waves, the Gangstaz chose, Ian D'Souza, because of the vast industry services and experience he provides. D'Souza will be working with the group to provide public relations, radio promotions and worldwide distribution. D'Souza said, "Mr. Solo and Chille Baby are talented artists whom, in spite of their tremendous success, have remained down to earth and humble. They are both industrious, visionary, and their message leaves a greater, lasting impact on their listening audience".
Chille Baby responds, "We love working with Ian and his team. With their vast knowledge, experience and track record, we feel they are the right fit for Camp 8. They can help us reach the next phase of our spiritual journey."
