Securitas Direct, a leading Swedish multinational in the home and business security sector, rented 786 m2 of offices in the Costa Business building that IBERDROLA INMOBILIARIA owns in Torremolinos, on which construction work was recently finished. 

Costa Business occupies a strategic location beside the N-340 and the Mediterranean Expressway – the two main roads in the Costa del Sol area – and just a few kilometres from Málaga airport and the Palace of Congresses. The proximity of the Costa Sol shopping centre completes this modern building’s offering.  

Of its 1,167 m2 surface area, Securitas Direct will be occupying all of the office-reserved area, with a total of 381 m2 still available as commercial premises. Costa Business will become the headquarters for the company’s Eastern Andalusia, Murcia and Albacete Territorial Department, as well as the new Málaga Regional Office.

This property has enabled this subsidiary of IBERDROLA to secure its footing in the area not only as a residential developer – with 212 homes now on sale in a development located in the municipality of Mijas – but also as a tertiary product developer.

In this regard, IBERDROLA INMOBILIARIA has developed projects such as the Málaga Ocio shopping and leisure centre, the  Shopping Málaga  factory outlet for manufacturers or the Málaga Business Park  business complex, located in the Andalusian Technology park. It also owns other properties such as the Eurocom Building,  which is located beside the bus station and a short distance from the AVE high-speed train station.
