DOE Announces Grants for Energy Technology Conferences, Workshops with Student Participation

The DOE's Advanced Research Projects Agency - Energy (ARPA-E) is providing grants to state and local governments; independent school districts; public, state, and private higher education institutions; Native American tribal governments and organizations; non-profits; and individuals. Through this funding, ARPA-E seeks to support energy technology conferences, workshops, and other events and student participation therein. The expected number of awards is 20, with $100,000 available. The closing date for applications is December 4, 2012.
