Starbucks Reserve™ Jamaica Blue Mountain® Coffee
Available beginning July 12 for a limited time, we will offer Jamaica Blue Mountain® coffee at select Starbucks stores. This rare and exceptional coffee is grown by the Amber Estate farms in the Blue Mountains, in the the eastern most part of the beautiful island of Jamaica. At elevations up to 5,000 feet, the terrain, soil, rainfall and Blue Mountain mist create the ideal conditions for quality coffee, resulting in a balanced flavor with mild citrus notes, a smooth milk chocolate finish and intense aroma.
Jamaica Blue Mountain® coffee beans are a unique, blue green color and are shipped in wooden barrels instead of typical burlap bags. Strict quality control is done through the Coffee Industry Board of Jamaica where the green coffee is rigorously inspected before export. Only previously offered a few times in our history due to limited supply, we look forward to providing customers with the opportunity to experience this highly coveted coffee.
Limited Availability
Starbucks Reserve™ coffees are available at select stores as whole bean in half-pound packages and fresh by the cup through the Clover® brewing method. The suggested retail price for a half-pound of whole bean starts at $30.00. A tall (12 fl. oz.) cup of brewed coffee starts at $4.50.
