WHAT:    Starbucks announces the return of Jamaica Blue Mountain® coffee, one of the most exotic coffees in the world. Available for a limited time at select stores featuring the  Starbucks Reserve™ coffee line, Starbucks will offer Jamaica Blue Mountain® as whole bean coffee to make at home, or to enjoy in-store by the cup through the Clover® brewing system. Jamaica Blue Mountain® coffee will be available for a suggested retail price of $30 for a half pound and $4.50 for a Tall (12 fl. oz.) cup of Clover® brewed coffee.

This rare and exceptional coffee is grown by the Amber Estate farms in the Blue Mountain region of the eastern most part of the beautiful island of Jamaica.  The unroasted coffee is shipped in iconic wooden barrels rather than burlap bags.  Grown at elevations up to 5,000 feet, the terrain, soil, rainfall and Blue Mountain mist create the ideal conditions for quality coffee, resulting in a balanced coffee with mild citrus notes, a smooth milk chocolate finish and an intense aroma.
