Contract Manufacturing Company PacMoore Receives EU Dairy Approval
PacMoore's contract manufacturing facilities are now approved to export dairy-based dry blends or repacked products to the European Union
/EINPresswire.com/ HAMMOND, IND. - PacMoore, a leading contract manufacturing company, has recently been approved to ship dry dairy powders to all European Union countries. While the Hammond, Ind., location is currently only approved to ship non-Grade A products, the company's Mooresville, Ind., location can export both Grade A and non-Grade A powders.

The United States holds strict food safety criteria for both milk and shelf-stable milk components. The EU's dairy evaluation methods are slightly different than United States requirements, and each country in the EU has its own set of laws and regulations regarding imported dairy products.
PacMoore will be responsible for keeping detailed records and complying with EU requirements for standard plate and somatic cell counts. Some EU countries require traceability back to the cow or the farm that produced the milk.
In addition to Grade A Dairy approval, PacMoore has food handling certification for organic, gluten-free, kosher and halal food products. PacMoore's contract manufacturing services include dry blending, repacking, spray drying, consumer packaging, research and development, and more.
