Statement by the Press Secretary on H.R. 793 and H.R. 1893
On Tuesday, May 31, 2011, the President signed into law:
H.R. 793, which designates the facility of the United States Postal Service located in Inverness, California, as the “Specialist Jake Robert Velloza Post Office”; and
H.R. 1893, the “Airport and Airway Extension Act of 2011,” which extends through June 30, 2011, authorities to collect taxes that fund the Airport and Airway Trust Fund, make expenditures from the Airport and Airway Trust Fund, and make grants to airports under the Airport Improvement Program.
