Swimmer Publishes New Self-Help Book with Religious Perspective
A new book is being released--Immersion: Live the Life God Envisioned for You, written by Mark McNees (Pastor of Element3 Church).
Tallahassee, FL--April 21, 2011--
Immersion is a book using the author's swim from Alcatraz Island to the shores of San Francisco as a metaphor for living a rich and satisfying life. In this book, readers will learn how to practically live out the vision God has for their lives in a holistically healthy and biblical way in the 21st century.
The book was written for individuals and groups to go through with Bible study curriculum at the end of each of the seven sections.
In the book there is a 40-Day W.H.O.L.E. (acronym used to identify key activities in a person's life in order to experience a rich, satisfying, and joyous life) life transformation program at the end of the book.

About the Author:
Mark is the Lead and Founding Pastor of Element3 Church Tallahassee FL and Thomasville, GA. He left a family business and moved from Los Angeles to Tallahassee with his wife and children in 2003. They moved with a vision to start a healthy biblical community which was relevant to the emerging culture.
Mark's passion is helping people live out the vision God has for their life. He encourages people to love God with all their Heart, Soul, Mind, and Strength while emphasizing the equal importance of loving their neighbor as themselves. Mark is currently a doctoral candidate at GFU in the Leadership in the Emerging Culture program and expects to graduate with his doctorate this year.
Mark loves to train and compete in triathlons with his friends and family, drinking coffee, and hanging out with the wonderful people God entrusted into his life.
