Barry Kaye Continuing Philanthropy Efforts, Even After Retirement

Barry Kaye donated over $5 million to Florida Atlantic University. These donations from Kaye and the Carole and Barry Kaye Foundation helped the Kayes become the third largest donor in the school's history.

NEW YORK, NY -- Barry Kaye, a retired radio and television personality, author and insurance agent is continuing his philanthropic efforts, despite the down-turned economy.

The Carole and Barry Kaye Foundation donated a total of $5 million to the university and the donation was matched with a grant from the state of Florida. This donation helped the Kayes become the third largest donor in the university's history.

In addition to the donations to Florida Atlantic University, Barry Kaye has created a testamentary gift of $1,000,000 to the American College, through the gift of a life insurance policy. He has received numerous awards and recognitions, including the City of Hope for Founders of Diabetic Research, the Menachim Begin Award for Israel Bonds, the Lifetime Achievement Award from Ben Gurion University of the Negev, the Recognition of Goodness Award from the Jewish Foundation for the Righteous, and the Archangel Pinnacle of Achievement Award.
